Candlelight Bubble Bath

This is the most affordable option, but definitely one of the most relaxing. Obviously, if you are in the tub, you won’t be on your phone. That will give you much needed quiet time. The benefits of using candles isn;t just for the darker, relaxing ambiance. If you choose the right candles, the aromatherapy can be powerful in changing your mood and promoting relaxation. As far as adding bubbles, they are just for fun.

 

Have a drink

Wine is a great choice. It can take the edge off a bit and has been proven to have health benefits as well. If you are looking for a non alcoholic beverage, warm green tea is a great option. You can even have a drink while in the massage chair or the bubble bath.

 

Mediate

This is totally free and is very effective. Sit down on a mat, turn the lights down low, turn on peaceful, relaxing music and mediate. Yoga is another good option that is great for your mood and body.

 

Pedicure

The best part of getting a pedicure, besides how great your nails turn out, is the warm soak. You don’t need a huge, fancy salon style chair. Just fill a bowl with warm water and add a few drops of essential oils and soak your feet for 10 minutes. This will also soften your skin for the rest of the pedicure.

 

Massage

If you need pampering asap, visit a massage parlor. This is a great way to reduce tension and get some uninterrupted quiet time. These are affordable if you plan on visiting every now and then. If this is something that you enjoy and want to have more often, invest in a great massage chair. Japanese massage chairs are the way to go. Don’t let the initial price shock you. If you do the math you will see that it will save money and allow you to enjoy it even more times than you would get to visit a massage parlor.

 

Facial

Give yourself a facial. This will make your skin look great and will also give you some down time.  Cover your eyes with cucumbers to reduce swelling. This also just feels great.  Add some essential oils for extra benefits too.
