Pregnancy is a mysterious period of human emotions, annoying symptoms and a joy of a lifetime. However, some other hormone may also cause nausea last beyond first three months of pregnancy. Sometimes pregnant women may also experience hyperemesis gravidarum-a condition leading to unstoppable queasiness and sickness while pregnancy. Persistent vomiting followed by weight loss above 5 percent of pre-pregnancy weight requires immediate medical help.
As a matter of fact, you cannot completely prevent the symptoms or control the changes occurring in the pregnant body and causing nausea in pregnancy but some ways are there to deal with the symptoms.
Identify Triggers for Nausea
Identify triggers for their nausea, for example, the smell of a particular food, stay away from that. Brushing teeth can sometimes cause nausea whilst pregnancy. Stuffy rooms, perfumes, heat, some particular environments such as washroom or kitchen can be some other triggers.
There is no harm in taking standard multi-vitamin and folic acid supplements, until you start feeling better.
Eat Little and Often
Do not put gaps between your meals as an empty stomach can worsen sickness. Have frequent high-carbohydrate and low-fat food. Consider eating little but often.

You can also take 1 to 1.5 grams powdered ginger every day to cope up with your nausea or can also consider having lemon-drop candies.
Relaxing and complementary therapies can be some best way to lessen your stress levels. Take off from work if possible. Listen to your favorite music.
