Eat Seasonal Fruits
Summertime is berry time. Blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and strawberries are all in season. These berries are not just tasty—they’re good for you! All four are excellent sources of fiber. They’re also chock-full of antioxidants, which are thought to slow the damage to your body caused by aging.
Other great summer fruits include cherries, pomegranates, pineapples, peaches and plums. And don’t forget the humble watermelon! The nutrients contained in a cold, delicious slice of everyone’s favorite summer fruit are believed by many to help prevent problems that range from heart disease to hair loss.
Garden More, Stress Less
Plant a small garden, flower box, or even just a few indoor flower pots. Gardening helps you be truly present in the moment. The smell of flowers and the feel of soil in your hands will help you relax and relieve your stress.
You’ve been cooped up all winter, so why stay inside in a sweaty gym? Exercise is at its most fun in the summer: you can go hiking, cycling, swimming, roller blading, or just take a nature walk. Spend some time playing outside with your kids. It’s a great way to bond with your family, and kids need exercise, too!
Get Enough Sleep
Summer days are long. The sun goes to bed late, and you may want to do the same. Resist the urge—sleep is just as important during the summer months as it is any other time of year. Start practicing good sleep hygiene to get yourself in the habit of sleeping when you should.

- Stick to your bedtime and wake-up schedule every day.
